Nail Salon Supervisor Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Nail Salon Supervisor to join our team at Tik Tok Beauty Nails & Spa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nail salon, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule work: Manage the daily schedule of our nail technicians to ensure that we are meeting our customer demand.
- Monitor quality and production levels: Ensure that our nail technicians are meeting our high standards of quality and productivity.
- Oversee cleaning of specialty and difficult items: Ensure that our nail salon is clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies: Order necessary supplies and equipment to ensure that our nail salon is well-stocked.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality: Troubleshoot any issues that may arise and provide guidance to our nail technicians to improve their skills and productivity.
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our nail technicians to ensure that we are meeting our customer demand.
- Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies: Train our new nail technicians on our company policies and procedures.
Work Environment:
- Noisy: Our nail salon can be a noisy environment due to the sound of nail drills and other equipment.
- Odours: Our nail salon may have strong odours from nail polish and other chemicals.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking: As a Nail Salon Supervisor, you will be required to stand for long periods of time and walk around the salon to supervise and coordinate the activities of our nail technicians.
Personal Suitability:
- Organized: You must be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet our customer demand.
- Reliability: You must be reliable and able to follow through on your commitments.
- Team player: You must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with our nail technicians and other staff members.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees: We provide training to our staff to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
Support for Youths:
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth: We provide training to our staff to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Support for Veterans:
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans: We provide training to our staff to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
Support for Indigenous people:
- Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers: We provide training to our staff to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Support for Mature workers:
- Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers: We provide training to our staff to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
Supports for visible minorities:
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities: We provide training to our staff to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
