Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Cleanliness Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day cleaning operations of our Terminal buildings and surrounding areas. Your primary goal will be to ensure that these facilities are clean, safe, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Salary and Benefits

Job Description

The Cleanliness Operations Manager will be responsible for:

  • Providing a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Terminal Buildings;
  • Prioritizing and responding to all IOCC/SSO and client requests in a timely fashion;
  • Ensuring that all frontline staff are assigned duties and deployed to their area of work within 20 minutes;
  • Supervising and directing staff, including the daily allocation of duties and general direction;
  • Promoting Health and Safety within the team and raising awareness among all staff members about relevant regulations;

In addition, the Cleanliness Operations Manager will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining records and submitting reports concerning personnel, equipment, supplies, and general non-routine activities;
  • Ensuring effective and economical use of cleaning materials and equipment;
  • Ensuring adequate supplies of cleaning materials and equipment are available to staff as required;
  • Taking delivery of cleaning products/equipment and relocating them to relevant storage areas;
  • Completing necessary supervisory training;
  • Organizing and delivering training to frontline staff, including specialized cleaning procedures;
  • Inspecting and auditing cleaning procedures with personnel from the assigned area and recommending changes as necessary;
  • Promoting effective communication between shift/teams and providing daily updates on operational issues and concerns;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning environment;
  • Previous experience supervising a team;
  • Customer and client-focused attitude;
  • Able to implement and adhere to standards and procedures;
  • Health and Safety experience, including understanding of Supervisors' responsibilities under OHSA;
  • Basic office skills, including email, word processing, and spreadsheet software;
  • Ability to use IOS Technology-based platforms;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Smart appearance and professional manner;
  • Resilience and ability to work under pressure.
