About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Finance Division in Montreal, Canada. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in a finance department.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects for the Finance Department, overseeing the building of finance applications using development tools available in MS Office, SQL, VBA, and Python. They will also provide application support to Financial Division applications such as Oracle Financials, Leasequery, Business Objects, etc.

In addition, the candidate will ensure the P&A team properly manages and updates referential under its responsibility, closes accounting periods in the General Ledger in coordination with the accounting principles, and follows the IT budget of the Finance Department and coordinates the preparation of the budget of projects for the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the P&A team
  • Manage projects for the Finance Department
  • Oversee the building of finance applications using development tools available in MS Office, SQL, VBA, and Python
  • Provide application support to Financial Division applications such as Oracle Financials, Leasequery, Business Objects, etc.
  • Ensure the P&A team properly manages and updates referential under its responsibility
  • Closes accounting periods in the General Ledger in coordination with the accounting principles
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 7-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in a finance department

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
