Job Description

At Alberta Ltd, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine method of shipment and prepare necessary documents
  • Assemble containers and crates for efficient storage and transportation
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
  • Maintain internal record-keeping system for accurate tracking and reporting
  • Record shortages and reject damaged goods to ensure quality control
  • Route goods to appropriate storage areas for efficient storage and retrieval
  • Pack goods to be shipped and ensure they are properly labeled and documented
  • Unpack goods received and verify their condition
  • Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments for accurate tracking
  • Oversee loading and unloading of goods to ensure safe and efficient transportation
Requirements:
  • Basic security clearance and a criminal record check to ensure a safe working environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders
