About the Role

Bombardier is seeking a skilled Structural Technician to join our team at the Dallas Service Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining customer aircraft structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex structural issues on aircraft
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on customer aircraft structures
  • Remove and install aircraft components as required
  • Fabricate and modify structural modifications on aircraft parts
  • Assist in conducting hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures
  • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations
Requirements
  • Typically 0-2 years of structural sheet metal repair/modification experience or substantiated similar experience
  • Sheet metal A/C Tech school or equivalent schooling
  • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
  • A Certification, or A & P Certificate or Repairman Certificate – (Commercial Only)
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and/or aircraft status
