Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Tom Smith Chevrolet Buick GMC Limited. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with commercial transport truck systems, as well as providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
- Discuss work with supervisor
- Review work orders and estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Perform scheduled maintenance service and test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
- 5 years or more of experience in the field of employment
- Valid driver's licence
- Steel-toed safety boots
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide accurate and reliable service
