Job Title: Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Tom Smith Chevrolet Buick GMC Limited. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect vehicles to identify areas that require repair or maintenance
  • Plan and execute repair work to ensure vehicles are restored to their original condition
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure they are safe and functioning properly
  • Clean and maintain workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance and support as needed
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in the automotive industry
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
