Responsibilities:
  • Perform general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including hallways and break rooms
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
  • Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure all assigned duties are completed within designated timeframes
Additional Information:
  • Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
  • Bonus pay, commission pay, overtime pay, signing bonus, and tips available
  • Dental care, extended health care, and paid time off benefits
  • Monday to Friday schedule with weekends as needed
  • Ability to commute or relocate to Salmon Arm, BC
  • Experience in cleaning and janitorial services preferred
  • English language proficiency preferred
