Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Juniper Network Engineer to join our team at PeopleToGo. As a key member of our network team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Juniper-based network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support for LAN/WAN, authentication, upgrades, Juniper router implementations, and network activities to support the business and provide support for deployed solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including configuration files, diagrams, and technical guides.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Juniper technology and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to improve network performance and security.
  • Participate in project implementations and provide technical leadership to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma with a focus on Computer Science: JNCP certification an asset.
  • Excellent English language skills; articulate with strong documentation skills.
  • 5 to 7 years of direct, recent, and hands-on working experience heavily focused on Juniper technology.
  • Solid experience working with Routing and Switching.
  • Strong working knowledge of firewall concepts.
  • Experience with Juniper switches/routers.
  • Good working knowledge of network architecture and security.
  • Good knowledge of the following protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, IPSec, GRE, HSRP, SNMP, and PPP, as well as routing protocols EIGRP and OSPF.
  • Good understanding of Juniper products, firewalls, ACS.
  • Good knowledge of IP telephony.
  • Good knowledge of network analysis and surveillance tools, diagnosis.
  • Good knowledge of network best practices (LAN/WAN, DMZ, security, etc).
  • Project implementations experience/team lead skills are an asset.
