Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Civil Technologist to join our team at MPE Engineering Ltd. and contribute to the development of municipal infrastructure projects in the Grande Prairie area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general project duties, including preparing cost estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents, under the supervision of a Senior Engineer or Technologist.
  • Develop, prepare, and review civil engineering design drawings, coordinating with the engineering Design Team.
  • Conduct site inspections and materials testing as required.
  • Manage construction contracts and liaise with clients and contractors.
  • Coordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplines.

Typical Projects:

  • Replacement and upgrade of underground water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure.
  • Development of water treatment and pumping facilities.
  • Wastewater collection, pumping, and treatment facilities.
  • Infrastructure assessments and studies.
  • Road Rehabilitation.
