Bayer (Schweiz) AG is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team in Quebec. As a key member of our medical affairs department, you will play a critical role in facilitating education and evidence generation between Bayer and the medical community.
Key Responsibilities- Scientific Expertise: Act as a primary point of contact between Bayer and Thought Leaders, providing scientific expertise and education on clinical research, real-world evidence, and health economic outcomes research.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with Thought Leaders, major medical associations, and academic centers to facilitate TL involvement in international, national, and regional initiatives.
- Communication and Education: Plan, partner, and engage with Thought Leaders to disseminate, clarify, and educate on scientific data, study protocols, conference abstracts, publications, and clinical guidelines.
- Insight Generation: Collect and document TL insights on current clinical practice, beliefs, and unmet medical needs to inform agile planning cycles.
- Market Access and Research: Contribute strategic input to market access and research activities, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scientific needs of all stakeholders are addressed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD) preferred.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a customer-facing medical affairs role or experience in drug information, clinical research and development, or other clinical relevant activities.
- Skills: Experience learning and using digital technology to develop communications, brand/TA campaigns, and/or conduct analysis of medical data and generate insights.
