Production Supervisor Job Summary

Fraserway RV is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our Service team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising Service Technicians to ensure quality standards and productivity requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train Service Technicians in service methods, safety, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify and correct potential work problems and health and safety issues.
  • Manage targets, goals, and service efficiencies to ensure the ongoing success of the shop floor.
  • Act as a Service Technician as necessary.
  • Other duties as directed by the Fixed Operations Manager / Service Manager.

Requirements:

  • Red Seal preferred or equivalent experience required.
  • Five years RV Technician/ or automotive knowledge and experience.
  • Gas Certification and Forklift Ticket an asset.
  • Leadership ability and team building skills to effectively supervise and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Must have the ability to plan, organize, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the company.
  • Strong negotiation and prioritization skills.
  • Exhibits strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates awareness of health and safety protocols.
  • Management experiences an asset.
  • Ability to work independently when necessary, within a busy environment.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 50 pounds.
