Job Title: Expert Project Manager

Job Description:

Project Overview:

The Client is embarking on a cloud onboarding project with the implementation of an Azure Landing Zone. This project will involve defining the operating model, including cloud governance, CCoE, FinOps design, and resource planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the operating model, including cloud governance, CCoE, FinOps design, and resource planning
  • Organize culture change, including cloud mindset, process changes, change management, and ITIL Version 4
  • Resource onboarding
  • PIA/STRA completion
  • Map roles and skills, including cloud operations, cloud governance, cloud security, cloud automation, and DevOps
  • Direct stakeholder engagement with various departments throughout Island Health
  • Coordinate Landing Zone design and implementation
  • Coordinate Architecture Review Board (ARB) approval
  • Build upskilling plan, including establishing teams, identifying gaps, and creating individual training plans
  • Lead Application Assessment, including application roadmaps and Azure migrate assessment
  • Lead Tooling Acquisition
  • CCoE formation
  • Cloud Governance implementation
  • Coordinate DevOps pipeline implementation
  • FinOps Implementation
  • Monitor and Surveillance Implementation
  • Post-Implementation Testing and validation
  • Post-Implementation project closure documentation

Requirements:

  • The Expert Project Manager will be responsible for running the Cloud onboarding project from start to finish.
  • Deliverables will include, but are not limited to, a detailed project plan in MS Project, resource plan, communication plan, org change plan, cloud governance framework, upskilling plan, PIA/STRA completion
  • The resource we are looking for will be an Expert Project Manager with preferable experience in complex cloud implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous healthcare experience
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience
  • Infrastructure project experience
  • Knowledge of cloud is preferred

Seniority Level Descriptions – EXPERT:

  • A Degree in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of six (6) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
  • A Diploma in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of seven (7) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
  • A Certificate in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of eight (8) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
  • An absolute minimum of ten (10) years of directly related Consulting Category experience.
