Occupational Health Officer Role

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Officer to join our team in Saskatoon. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the health and safety of Saskatchewan employees.

About the Role

This full-time position will involve providing expert advice on occupational health matters, conducting workplace assessments, and developing policies to promote healthy work environments. As an Occupational Health Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our employees have a safe and healthy place to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct workplace assessments to identify potential hazards and develop recommendations for improvement;
  • Provide expert advice on occupational health matters to employees, management, and other stakeholders;
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote healthy work environments;
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as occupational health and safety or a related field;
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or a related field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations;
