Job Title: Human Resources Director Lead

At B.E.S.T. Recruiting Consultants Ltd., we are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Director Lead to drive our HR strategy and lead our growing team in this fast-paced, dynamic environment.

About the Role:

This hands-on role will see you playing a key part in shaping our HR strategy while also contributing to day-to-day operations. You will work closely with our leadership team to align HR strategies with business goals and ensure compliance with evolving labor laws in both Canada and the U.S.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, analyzing needs, forecasting HR requirements, and setting departmental goals.
  2. Leadership Collaboration: Partner with leaders to understand business challenges and opportunities, providing HR insights to guide strategic decision-making.
  3. Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with HR-related legal frameworks in both Canada and the U.S.
  4. Workforce Development: Lead initiatives focused on recruitment, talent retention, and workforce planning, while fostering a culture of performance and development.
  5. Training & Development: Oversee the design and implementation of programs that support skill-building, career progression, and leadership development for employees.
  6. HR Best Practices: Drive HR excellence by promoting best practices across all functions, from recruitment to employee relations and compensation.
  7. Team Leadership: Mentor and develop the HR team, ensuring they have the support and resources to thrive in a hands-on, results-driven environment.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in HR, with substantial experience in a leadership role.
  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong capabilities in strategic planning, with the ability to develop long-term HR plans that align with business objectives.
  • Ability to actively engage with and support teams across the organization, from recruitment to performance management.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR legal and regulatory frameworks in both Canada and the U.S.
  • Strong understanding of various HR functions, best practices, and the ability to apply them in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
