Rafat General Contracting is seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of truck-trailer systems, and performing scheduled maintenance service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance, with experience working with truck-trailer systems. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance
  • Strong background in truck-trailer systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity
