We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at Highview Restoration Ltd. as a key member of our maintenance team.
Job Summary:The Handyman/Woman will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of our properties, including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors and stairs
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
- Perform safety and security checks
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
- Work with minimal supervision
- Prepare floors for installations
- Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
- Install door, window, and other hardware
- Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets
- Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
- Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
- Install interior prefabricated products
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Dependability, flexibility, judgement, and reliability
The Handyman/Woman will work in a variety of locations, including construction sites, and will be required to work in a physically demanding environment.
