Job Title: Crane Operator

We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team at National Crane Inc. as a key member of our construction team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials
  • Clean and lubricate cranes
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas
  • Assemble tower cranes on site
  • Operate gantry cranes to load and unload ship cargo at port side
  • Operate locomotive cranes to move objects and materials at railway yards
  • Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials
  • Operate offshore oil rig cranes to unload and reload supply vessels
  • Operate cranes mounted on boats or barges to lift, move and place equipment and materials
  • Operate dragline cranes to expose coal seams and ore deposits at open pit mines
Requirements:
  • Tower Crane Operator Trade Certification
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and in physically demanding environments
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
