Radiology Technologist Leader

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Shared Health. This exciting opportunity offers a challenging and rewarding experience in the field of medical imaging.
**Job Summary**
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiology Technologist to assist in the general operation of the department, performing routine and emergency Diagnostic Imaging procedures. As a Senior Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, ensuring compliance with quality assurance programs, and upholding standards set by Accreditation.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the general operation of the department, performing routine and emergency Diagnostic Imaging procedures.
- Maintain a safe environment, adhering to professional and provincial guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance programs and maintain standards put forth by Accreditation.
- Collaborate with the Charge Technologist or Designate to oversee departmental operations.
**Requirements**
- Minimum three years recent related work experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience an asset.
- Graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with attained certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Completion of courses in Cross Sectional Anatomy and/or Computed Tomography as required.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Active registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) required.
- Windows computer environment required.
- Microsoft Office programs required.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Effective oral and written communication skills required in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Benefits**
We offer a competitive salary range of $35.94 to $45.15 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health and dental coverage, group life insurance, and pension plan.
