Job Summary

Cold Iron Truck Center Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Load and unload goods
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks
  • Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and equipment
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Perform brake adjustments and pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
