We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Saskatchewan Ltd. in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Job Summary:The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and work areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine the size of food portions and costs
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Order supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work under pressure
The Line Cook will work in a restaurant environment with a fast-paced and physically demanding workload.
