Housekeeping Attendant Job Description

At CB Canada, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all public areas of the casino, including hallways, meeting rooms, and general public areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests and ensure that their needs are met
  • Work collaboratively with the facilities team to maintain a safe and welcoming work environment
  • Vacuum hallways, ceiling vents, meeting rooms, and general public areas to ensure a clean and tidy environment
  • Clean and dust fixtures, walls, signs, sconces, stairwells, doorframes, public telephones, and other areas as required
  • Maintain all housekeeping storage areas to ensure a safe and organized workspace
  • Clean offices and common rooms as required to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including guests, ownership, and employees
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed by management

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Smart Serve Certificate
  • WHMIS certification
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
