At Frugo the go between store, we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our merchandise is presented in an attractive and inviting manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their roles.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Order merchandise and ensure that it is received and stored in a timely and organized manner.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed in accordance with our store's policies and procedures.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to all customers.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, and present them to management as required.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory and ensure that all merchandise is accurately accounted for.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of all staff members and ensure that they are working together effectively to achieve our store's goals.
  • Oversee payroll administration and ensure that all staff members are paid accurately and on time.
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and support to our customers.
