About the Job

This is a temporary full-time opportunity with 40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have experience in custom fabrication, factory assembly, and working with steel, iron, and heavy metals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure adherence to industry standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet quality standards
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment and previously set-up welding machines
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a MIG Welder
  • Diploma in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Red Seal Certificate for Welding
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
