We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Sidders & Associates. This role involves working with private enterprise clients, handling audits, and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Tax Returns and Audits: Prepare and review tax returns (T1s and T2s), audit engagements, and compilations.
- Clients and Collaboration: Work with private enterprise clients, applying your knowledge of ASPE, ASNPO, and GAAP standards. Collaborate with and supervise a small team (2–3 people).
- Client Insights: Provide valuable insights to clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally.
- A Canadian CPA designation (or CFE completed)
- 2+ years of experience working in a CPA firm in Canada
- Expertise in working with private company clients
- Strong understanding of ASPE, ASNPO, and tax standards
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model based out of the Surrey office
- Salary Range: $70,000–$80,000 (negotiable based on experience)
