Bakery Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at 1926872 Alberta Ltd. o/a First Town Foods. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, including bread, rolls, and sweet treats.
  • Bake and decorate cakes and pastries to meet customer orders and quality standards.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
  • Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a bakery or related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
