Job Title: Tile Setter

At INSULATION MASTERS INC, we are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic tiles on walls and floors, ensuring a high-quality finish and meeting our company's standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install ceramic tiles on walls and floors, following established patterns and designs.
  • Measure and mark surfaces to ensure accurate tile placement.
  • Apply adhesive and grout to tiles, ensuring a strong and durable bond.
  • Cut and shape tiles as needed to fit around obstructions and edges.
  • Inspect and test tile installations to ensure they meet our quality standards.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in tile setting or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy materials.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
  • Work site environment: dusty, noisy, and odorous.
  • Physically demanding work, requiring heavy lifting and bending.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and attention to detail required.
Tools and Equipment:
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles required.
  • Tools and safety equipment provided by the company.
Language:
  • English language required for communication and documentation.
Work Schedule:
  • 30-40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
