Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is between $80,000 and $110,000, depending on experience.

Job Description: As a Construction Estimator at Ambient Mechanical Ltd., you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate estimates of labour and material costs for our projects. Your expertise will enable us to make informed decisions about project feasibility and profitability. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for mechanical construction projects
  • Collaborating with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate estimates and timely project completion
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and trade contractors to secure the best possible prices
  • Creating and submitting estimate reports, quote sheets, and bids forms to clients

Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or engineering
  • 1-2 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in mechanical construction
  • Excellent knowledge of estimating software and tools, including AutoCAD and MS Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
