Food Service Manager

Ontario Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent performance.
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that food and service meet our high standards.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform other physical demands of the job.
Our food service team operates in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the highest quality of food and service. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be working in a dynamic and supportive team environment, with opportunities for growth and development.
Language:The primary language of work is English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers in French also an asset.
Work Term:This is a permanent position, with a regular full-time schedule of 30-40 hours per week.
