Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Operations Director to join our team at Flynn Canada Ltd.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a construction professional with a proven track record in managing construction projects from start to finish. As a Construction Site Operations Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will lead a team of construction professionals and work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. Your expertise in construction management, project planning, and risk management will enable you to identify potential issues and develop effective mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Lead a team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery
  • Maintain open communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction projects, ensuring that all necessary safety protocols are in place
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns promptly
  • Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in construction management, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Project
  • A valid driver's licence and a willingness to travel regularly
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
