About the Role:

The Program Support Officer will provide comprehensive support to Academic Leadership in the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences' Department of Continuous Professional Learning. This role involves providing administrative, program, financial, human resources, student, marketing, and inter-departmental support to students, professors, vendors/service providers, program coordinators, and internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Academic Leadership, including coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
  • Assist with program planning, coordination, and delivery, including scheduling, budgeting, and evaluating program effectiveness.
  • Support student services, including advising, registration, and academic support.
  • Collaborate with vendors/service providers, program coordinators, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless program delivery.
  • Act as a resource to students, faculty, professors, vendors/service providers, program coordinators, and administrators on the application of the College's academic policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess a 3-year diploma or degree from a recognized college or university in Business, Communications, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Marketing, or equivalent. A minimum of three (3) years' progressive administrative or student advising experience in a post-secondary environment is required.
