Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Adroit Facilities Services Inc. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our facilities, ensuring that they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and train cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inspect facilities to ensure that they meet safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for cleaning operations.
  • Recommend additional services required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist cleaning staff in performing duties as needed.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish work schedules.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
