We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Pizza Depot. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other menu items to meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including pizzas, salads, and sides.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and provide guidance and support to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment.
- Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
