About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook Professional to join our team at City South Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including pizzas, to our customers.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for food preparation and service.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, including pizza preparation and cooking techniques.
- Order supplies and equipment, including ingredients and cooking utensils, to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, including pizza cooks, to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, including pizza ingredients and cooking supplies.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, including pizza preparation and cooking areas, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Recruit and hire staff, including pizza cooks, to join our team at City South Pizza.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food preparation and cooking, including pizza cooking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, including pizza preparation and cooking.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and customers.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, including pizza preparation and cooking areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in food safety and handling, including pizza preparation and cooking.
- Experience working in a pizza kitchen, including pizza preparation and cooking.
- Ability to speak multiple languages, including English and French.
