Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Calgary University. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of facilities.
- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning and maintenance supplies and services.
- Recommend and arrange for additional services as needed, such as painting, repair work, and renovations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Assist housekeeping staff in performing duties as needed.
- Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and coverage.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
