Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Calgary University.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring that our facilities are clean and safe for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.
- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates for housekeeping supplies and services.
- Recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Assist housekeeping staff in performing duties as needed.
- Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that tasks are completed on time.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 36-44 hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
Language:English is the primary language of communication in this role.
