Lead a Team of Retail Professionals

We are seeking an experienced Department Manager to lead our team of retail professionals at Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office. As an Assistant Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and empowering team members to improve efficiency, engagement, and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor team members to achieve operational and financial objectives

  • Maintain high standards of merchandising and operational excellence

  • Identify and develop talented team members to join our team

  • Build and lead diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging

Requirements:

  • Resourceful and courteous when resolving customer inquiries

  • Motivated to learn new things and deliver exceptional customer service

  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings, and weekends

  • Able to move up to 50lbs and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Passionate people leader skills and a consistent record of delighting customers

  • An outstanding teammate with good interpersonal skills and adaptability
