Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Griesbach Dental. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Assist dentists with various tasks, including preparing plaster models, casting gold or metal alloys, and ordering dental and office supplies.
- Perform administrative functions, such as invoicing patients and maintaining accurate records.
- Supervise students in training and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies, and contribute to the development of our dental team.
- Registration with provincial or territorial authorities.
- Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
