Job Title: Glass Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at GTA DOOR SYSTEMS LTDS. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing glass products, including windows, doors, and other glass structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure precise fits
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring proper alignment and sealing
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients, estimating costs and materials required
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring proper functioning and aesthetics
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on glass installation techniques
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, using specialized tools and equipment
  • Supervise other workers, ensuring efficient and safe installation processes
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project, working closely with clients and project managers
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in glass installation and repair
  • Permanent employment, 30 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
Work Environment:

Our team works in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, requiring the ability to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks. Safety equipment and gear, including safety glasses and goggles, are provided and must be worn at all times.
