Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines and other equipment to fabricate and cut parts. You will work under the supervision of the Production Supervisor and be responsible for ensuring high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical drawings
  • Make adjustments to CNC machines as required
  • Operate CNC machines and other equipment to fabricate and cut parts
  • Ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Inspect equipment and report any issues to the Production Supervisor
  • Respect health and safety protocols
  • Verify product quality through regular inspections
  • Perform other related tasks as required

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as CNC machining or a related trade
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with experience in design and programming
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and measurements
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software
  • Knowledge of the natural stone industry (an asset)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good judgment and analytical skills
  • Autonomy and initiative
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Good physical condition
