About the Role

Gia Foods Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipper to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods throughout our distribution center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipment Coordination: Determine the most effective method of shipment for our products, taking into account factors such as weight, size, and destination.
  • Distribution Scheduling: Schedule the distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery to our customers.
  • Transportation Management: Schedule transportation conveyances to ensure the safe and secure transportation of our products.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents to ensure accurate and timely payment.
  • Inventory Management: Assemble containers and crates, inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, and maintain an accurate internal record-keeping system.
  • Goods Movement: Route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods to be shipped, unpack goods received, and oversee loading and unloading of goods.
  • Financial Transactions: Process payments for goods and receive payments from customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required. Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
