Accounting Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team at FIABLE BUSINESS AND CONSULTING CORPORATION DBA ZAP ACCOUNTING. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
