About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Retail Store Operations Manager to join our team at The Brick Warehouse. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing and controlling daily store operations to ensure exceptional customer service and sales results.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and control daily store operations, including managing staff and assigning duties.
- Evaluate daily store performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Plan and organize daily store operations to meet business objectives.
- Manage staff recruitment, hiring, and supervision to ensure effective team management.
- Analyze market trends and consumer demand to inform product assortment and pricing strategies.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold based on market research and customer preferences.
- Implement effective inventory management practices to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
- Plan and manage budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility and profitability.
- Determine staffing requirements to meet business needs and ensure adequate coverage.
- Resolve issues promptly, including customer complaints and supply chain disruptions.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in retail store operations or a related field.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; degree preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
