Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter - Exterior and Interior Specialist to join our team at WMK Construction Canada Inc. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and trim. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure high-quality results and meet our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages as needed for safe and efficient access.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
  • Advise clients on color choices and provide recommendations for wall coverings.
  • Estimate costs and materials for painting projects.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in painting or a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various locations.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Work Environment

As a Painter - Exterior and Interior Specialist, you will work in various locations, including outdoors, and be exposed to different weather conditions. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
