We are seeking a talented Server and Storage Expert Leader to join our team at the Toronto Hydro Corporation. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading the administration and support of our Server, Storage & Backup environments, ensuring optimal security and collaboration with other IT stakeholders to meet business requirements.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of technical professionals to deliver timely service to internal and external clients.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor plans to support server, storage, and backup systems.
  • Collaborate with other IT stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate server, storage, and backup requirements.
  • Manage systems, processes, and tools to ensure efficient operation of our infrastructure.
  • Provide support for Corporate Capital Projects.

The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or business, along with 10 years of experience in Information Technology, 7 years in server, storage, and backup support, and 5 years of progressive project leadership experience. Knowledge of traditional and emerging IT methodologies, project management, business requirements planning, process engineering, and process improvements is essential.

We offer a Hybrid Work Arrangement, allowing remote work up to three days per week based on business needs. Employees are expected to live in Ontario and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
