We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Hand in Hand Daycare Inc. This is a permanent full-time position with an estimated salary of $60,000 per year.
About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement child-care programs tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assessing the developmental needs of children and preparing learning plans to support their growth.
- Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers while ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Developing and implementing educational programs that promote the overall development of children.
- Maintaining daycare equipment and supplies to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Engaging children in activities through storytelling, songs, and arts and crafts.
- Guiding children in developing good eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- Preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for meals and rest periods.
- Observing children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and reporting to parents or guardians.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in early childhood education, preferably with an ECE Certificate.
- Knowledge of licensing regulations and ability to maintain a compliant environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with community service providers.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of caring for young children.
