We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Care Aide to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide resident care in accordance with resident-centred care philosophy and established regional and facility policies and procedures.
- Perform nursing procedures such as taking temperature, pulse, and respiration, as well as resident care duties relating to activities of daily living, including personal, social, physical, and recreational needs.
- Transport residents and perform clerical duties.
- Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience and registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.

- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service.
