Manufacturing Operations Specialist

As a key member of the Macro Engineering & Technology Inc. team, the Manufacturing Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.
Responsibilities:- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to inform assembly decisions.
- Bolt, screw, clip, weld, solder, or otherwise fasten parts and components together using hand and power tools and equipment.
- Operate and maintain automated assembling equipment, including robotic and fixed automation systems.
- Connect cables, tubes, and wires to complete assemblies and installations.
- Position and install parts, subassemblies, and accessories using hand and power tools and other aids like overhead hoists.
- Identify and report defects, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Test electrical assemblies, equipment, and wiring for proper performance using testing devices such as meters and analyzers.
- Clean and prepare work sites to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
- Lubricate, clean, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools to prevent downtime and extend their lifespan.
- Operate air monitoring and sampling devices when working in confined spaces and/or hazardous environments.
- Perform surface preparation tasks, including grinding, scraping, sanding, and polishing, using abrasive tools or machines.
- Load, unload, and distribute building materials, machinery, and tools to designated locations according to project plans and specifications.
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
