Job Title: Administration and Planning Coordinator

At Inuvialuit Regional Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administration and Planning Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for program development and policy creation related to Inuvialuit knowledge-based research activities in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (ISR).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research administration, program development, and policy creation. They will be responsible for planning, securing funding, and carrying out research studies on the marine environment, as well as documenting the social, cultural, and economic relationship the Inuvialuit have with their waterways.

The Administration and Planning Coordinator will also be responsible for working with internal and external partners, overseeing or collecting information, developing research planning materials, conducting literature reviews, coordinating survey instruments, assisting in data analysis, and providing technical advice to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement research programs and policies related to Inuvialuit knowledge-based research activities.
  2. Plan and secure funding for research studies on the marine environment.
  3. Conduct research studies and document the social, cultural, and economic relationship the Inuvialuit have with their waterways.
  4. Work with internal and external partners to develop research planning materials and conduct literature reviews.
  5. Coordinate survey instruments and assist in data analysis.
  6. Provide technical advice to senior management on research-related matters.
