Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating special events, determining food portion sizes and costs, planning menus, and supervising kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute special events and functions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Determine the appropriate size of food portions and estimate costs to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Plan and develop menus that meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
